Six-year-old repeatedly molested by security guard

In the light of the above incident, the victim’s parents assembled at the school created a ruckus on Monday morning. Delhi Police arrested the security guard, identified as Ram Sahay, aged 55 years.

The Class I student reported the matter to his parents who in turn barged into the school and attacked the security guard and even broke down the school gate.  

According to sources, in an attempt to control the enraged crowd, the police allegedly  resorted to <g data-gr-id="27">lathicharge</g>. 

According to senior police officials, the child has been molested multiple times in the past by the security guard. When the minor’s parents got to know, they informed the school administration of Spring Meadows Public School. 

Raising concern on the safety of their children in school premises, the boy’s parents along with a mob of around 100 people questioned the school administration.

Pushpendra Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, West, said: “We have arrested the accused. <g data-gr-id="23">Investigation</g> has begun and appropriate action will be taken against him.”

A case has been registered at the Uttam Nagar police station under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
