Six held for cheating during constable recruitment exam

Six people have been arrested by Delhi police for allegedly cheating during the constable recruitment examination in the Railway Police Force.
Rahul Mavi (20), Tapish (24), Sunny(22), Robin Kumar Nain (24), Sohanpal (22) and Tapender (26) were apprehended on Sunday from inside the examination centre, Shri Tula Ram Public School, Aman Vihar, Rohini after a tip off was received that organised cheating was planned during the test, police said.

‘They were found solving the test paper with the help of answer keys sent to them through SMS on their phones. Every phone had answer keys to all four sets of question papers in the form of SMSes,’ said additional commissioner of police (crime branch) Ravindra Yadav.

The candidates were allegedly charged at least Rs 3 lakh each by the rackeeters. Police have recovered six mobile phones, one hand written answer key, admit cards bearing names and other details of the six candidates with their respective question papers and answer sheets.

During interrogation, it came to light that the candidates came in contact with different sources who promised to provide them answer keys of the question paper for the recruitment of constable in Railway Protection Force, said Yadav.
