Silver jubilee for Fauji SRK

For Shah Rukh Khan, life seems to have come full circle just before he completes the silver jubilee of his career in acting and showbiz.

At 46, the superstar doesn’t just paint a perfect, military print uniform-clad, intense look but also reflects his fit, powerful and impactful demeanour through the first few looks of the movie.

‘After Om Shanti Om, none of Shah Rukh’s films have done too well in Bihar. People like Salman Khan more here. However, as the Yash Raj Films banner is associated with him, their movies do well here. So there is a chance that the movie will do well here ,’ said Rajan Sinha, a distributor from Bihar.

Shah Rukh has also been touted as the king of romance in Indian cinema, owing to films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kal Ho Naa Ho, but lately he was seen in many action movies like RA.One and Don: The King Is Back.

Addressing the press conference in Srinagar, Shah Rukh said: ‘Naturally, people who hear me would like to come here either to make a movie or to simply see the beauty of the place. ’Dressed formally to attend the media interaction, Shah Rukh had to get up from his chair to maintain order so that he could hear questions posed by media persons.

The 46-year-old said his first experience with Kashmir had been rewarding. SRK also said: ‘I am not such a big person that others would follow me. The beauty of Kashmir is definitely unmatched by any other place. Inshallah, other filmmakers will come to shoot here.’ He was sad that his stay in the Valley has come to an end.
