Showroom owner accused of molestation

A 30-year-old woman was allegedly molested by the owner of a car showroom in Kalkaji when she came to fix a gas kit in her car. This is reportedly the third case of molestation against the accused in last few years.

According to the compliant, the woman had came along with her uncle to a car showroom, AB Motors, located at Kalkaji, to fix the gas kit. The owner of the showroom, Vikas Bakshi, asked her to sit inside his cabin as her uncle was talking with the mechanics. The woman sat inside the cabin in front of Bakshi.

According to the woman, Bakshi in the beginning started a random conversation with her. But after a while, he began making vulgar gestures. Seeing this, the victim stood up and started heading towards the exit.

But Bakshi took hold of the girl's hand and asked her to remain there. The victim then slapped Bakshi and came out of the cabin, screaming and shouting. When she realised her uncle had gone to test drive the car, she placed a PCR call.

The police reached the spot and registered the complaint against accused. The victim had also alleged that the police had not arrested the accused still and that they were colluding with the accused.

According to sources, the accused has been alleged of molestation earlier in 2010 by an Iranian woman. Soon after that he was charged by another woman for molesting her. In both cases Delhi police had not arrested the accused purportedly due to pressure from senior police officials.
