Sheila inaugurates seventh e-sub registrar office in Nangloi

The seventh e-sub registrar office was on Friday dedicated to the citizens of the capital by the chief minister Sheila Dikshit in Nangloi.
The move signifies a quantum leap forward by the revenue department in its efforts to reform the public experience of registration and stamping by completely modernising it and making it user-friendly.

Dikshit stated that in the present scenario, a person who wants to register a document has to deal with huge crowds. Even after going through this ordeal, he or she has to make several rounds of the sub registrar office and wait endlessly before the document is registered and delivered. To put an end to this, the system envisages a process in which each applicant arrives at the e-sub registrar office with a pre-fixed appointment.
