Sharmila tied 15th in Morocco

Sharmila Nicollet making a comeback from injury got off to a good start with a one-over par 71 that placed her tied 15th at the end of the first day of the 90-hole Ladies European Tour’s Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Qualifier.
Sharmila was playing at the par-70 Samanah Golf Course as the qualifiers are being held over two courses. The other Indian in the fray Smriti Mehra had a struggle with a four-over 76 at the Al Maaden course. England’s Georgia Hall fired a five under par 67 in warm and sunny conditions at Samanah Golf Club on Wednesday to take the first round lead.
