Share trading on BSE, NSE via Apps up over two-fold

The rise in the number of smartphone users in the country has led to a change in the equity trading pattern, with bourses like BSE and NSE witnessing a combined turnover of Rs 90,600 crore in mobile app-based trade so far this fiscal. The turnover of trades on BSE and NSE through smart phones increased from Rs 38,523.54 crore during 2013-14 from Rs 90,597.98 crore in the current finacial year 2014-15 (April-February) period, Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said in the Lok Sabha.
