Shankaracharya calls Modi a ‘good person’

Swami Jayendra Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of revered Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth, on Wednesday termed Gujarat CM Narendra Modi as a 'good person' and blessed him for a bright future.
Swami Jayendra Saraswati though refused to be drawn into the controversy related to Modi's candidature for the prime minister post saying he would not speak on political matter. He, however, all praise for Narendra Modi and said ‘I bless him as he is a good person.’
