Shahid thanks ‘everyone’ for marriage wishes

<g data-gr-id="20">Newly-wed</g> actor Shahid Kapoor has thanked his fans and colleagues from the industry for their warm wishes on his marriage to Delhi girl Mira Rajput.

The 34-year-old Haider star tied the knot with the Mira, 21, in a low-key ceremony on July 7 at a farm house on the outskirts of the national capital.

“Thank you to each and every one of you for your wishes. Means a lot,” Shahid tweeted. The actor will host a wedding reception in Mumbai on July 12 and the event is expected to have the presence of who’s who of Bollywood.

Shahid will be next seen in Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar opposite Alia Bhatt and <g data-gr-id="16">Udta</g> Punjab, which is produced by Vikramaditya Motwane.

Apart from his film assignments, the actor will be seen as a judge on the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8.
