Shahid Kapoor out of Farzi

The makers of <g data-gr-id="38">bollywood</g> actor Shahid Kapoor-starrer Farzi are reportedly <g data-gr-id="50">roping</g> in some other actor to play the lead in the upcoming film as the Haider star has date issues.

The 34-year-old actor was supposed to star in director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming film <g data-gr-id="29">Farzi</g>.

“We are rescheduling dates for <g data-gr-id="42">Farzi</g>. We are figuring out things. We are working out the dates for this film of Shahid. But things look tough as he has back-to-back films — <g data-gr-id="43">Shandaar</g> and <g data-gr-id="44">Udta</g> Punjab. So he will be busy promoting them as well,” sources said.

“It is premature to say anything right now. <g data-gr-id="37">May be</g> in a week or so things will be clear,” the sources added.

Gossip mills are abuzz that 2 States star Arjun Kapoor might replace Shahid in <g data-gr-id="28">Farzi</g>.

“We are thinking of other actors. We are considering Arjun. But nothing is finalised yet,” the sources said.

<g data-gr-id="34">Farzi</g> was expected to go on floors in December last <g data-gr-id="33">year</g> but that did not happen. Then Shahid began shooting for <g data-gr-id="35">Shaandar</g> in London and returned to India in February to start filming Abhishek Chaubey’s <g data-gr-id="36">Udta</g> Punjab.

<g data-gr-id="26">Farzi</g> will be shot primarily in Mumbai.
