Shahid completes ‘12 years a slave’ in Bollywood, thanks fans

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who made his acting debut with Ishq Vishk in 2003, is delighted to be a ‘slave’ of the ‘most amazing world of films’.

“12 years a slave of this most amazing world of films thank you one and all for the love and the support. Big love,” Shahid tweeted on Saturday.

Directed by Ken Ghosh, Ishq Vishk released on May 9, 2003 and launched the career of Shahid, who went on to deliver hits like Haider and Jab We Met.

“12 years ago #ishqvishk released,” Ghosh also tweeted.

Amrita Rao, who made her Bollywood acting debut with Ab Ke Baras in 2002, rose to fame with the film.

The actor is now set to tie the knot with Delhi girl Mira Rajput on June 10 this year. The actor has also dated his Jab We Met co-star Kareena Kapoor in the past.
