Seven Tanks ATM robbery: Cops release sketch of prime accused

Police on Friday released the portrait parley of the prime accused of the incident in which Rs 33.82 lakh was looted after breaking an ATM machine of a nationalised bank on Northern Avenue near Seven Tanks Estate at Sinthee. The incident had taken place in the wee hours on May 4.

A senior police officer said that more than one person was involved in the crime. But only half of the face of a person was captured when he was breaking the surveillance camera in the ATM counter. Based on the footage, experts of the city police had prepared the portrait parley of the person. 

Police have released it stating that it would help to arrest the culprits. The police are, however, confirm that the same gang was behind the ATM dacoity at Sinthee and Dum Dum. Both the incidents occurred on the same day.
