Sensing the rare

Sensing the rare
Art enthusiasts can head on for this art exhibition titled The Ghats of The Sacred River that  displays the works of Saranjit Singh.

The artist’s rare sensibility gives a subtle touch to the sensual form of women on his canvases.

He not only tries to depict visual forms of sketches of monuments, havelis, still objects, female forms, natural beauty of cityscapes and landscapes, but also seeks to express his artistic creativity in the portrayal of men and women, using oil as a medium.

Having trained from College of Arts, Delhi Singh spends around nine hours in his studio creating pieces of art form.

Though he has worked on mediums like oil, watercolour, pen and ink, he enjoys watercolour the most. He has a stylistic exploration, which commands attention.

His paintings are expression of his innerself, an expression of joy and an epitome of creative energy.

Singh says, ‘Paintings to me is an experimental journey into the depth of my interpretation.’

‘Art for me is the only way to express myself, providing me an opportunity to visualise my thoughts and channelise all my creative energy’, the 56-years artist  further notes.
