Security guards protest for dues, shoot at official

Agitated due to non-payment of salary for last six months, around a dozen guards of a company in Greater Noida beat up their seniors and even fired with their guns, injuring one of them. Site engineer Amit Kumar, 26, was injured seriously and his hand might need to be amputated. According to police, the incident took place around 11.30 am, when guards refused to resume work and protested in front of the office, demanding their dues. The guards were deployed at an under-construction site of NGK Infrastructure.
