SDMC inaugurates polyclinic and maternity and child care centre

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Thursday inaugurated a Polyclinic and Maternity and Child Care Centre at Ghumanhera village. The Corporation said that the centre will cater to the needs of nearby villages also. It expressed confidence that the polyclinic will provide accurate diagnostic test results and the centre will acquire a reputation of serving the patients specially expecting mothers and newborns with dedication and commitment. 

Besides this, the SDMC claimed to expedite the development of rural villages. It was said that the departments concerned have been instructed to ensure the development of basic amenities in all the villages under the jurisdiction of the civic body. As per the report, an amount of Rs 5.81 crore has been released. The 83 villages under the four zones of the civic body will be developed and urgent nature of development will be completed with an amount of Rs 7 lakh per village.
