Scottish Church will not reopen before Puja

The Scottish Church College will not reopen before the Durga Puja, the administrative authority decided after a meeting on Saturday.

The authority held a meeting, but could not find the solution. Later, they agreed on the point that the college will be stand closed till the Puja.

It is to be recalled that the authorities of Scottish Church College decided to shut down the institute indefinitely following student unrest on Wednesday night.

Some students allegedly entered into an administrative meeting, demanding return of Amit Abraham, the former principal, who resigned from post a month ago.

State education minister Partha Chatterjee was informed about the matter.
