SCERT launches online teaching programme

The State Council of Educational Research & Training – SCERT under the City government on Monday forayed into an initiative related to the first-ever online capacity building programme for in service teacher’s training to benefit 50,000 teachers working in the different schools of the Directorate of Education.

The Education Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava while launching the new initiative appreciated the efforts of the SCERT in conceptualising a unique flexible and convenient programme with an aim to enrich the knowledge, competency and efficiency of the teachers to enable them to develop a holistic instinct among the students and sharpen their thirst for new developments in the field of crucial subjects which matter a lot to them. She also lauded the efforts of the team led by Sapna Yadav, Senior Lecturer, SCERT, involved in formulating the best ever on line capacity building programme.

The Director SCERT Anita Satia stated that the online training programme will be prepared for all classes and all subject teachers in due course.
