Say no to crackers: Imran Hussain

A campaign of “saying no to firecrackers” was launched on Monday by the Environment Minister of Delhi, Imran Hussain at the Government Boys Senior Secondary School No.1, Uttam Nagar with the aim of spreading the message of not bursting crackers this Diwali among the citizens of Delhi.
Around 1,000 students of 10 government and private schools took part in the campaign in the presence of Deputy Director of Education and MLA Naresh Balyan.
The students took the pledge that they would not burst firecrackers and will plant one tree each on their respective birthdays for conserving the environment.
