Saudi man dumps bride 2 hours after wedding due to Snapchat

It was what many would call an ‘unhappy’ ending!  A Saudi man dumped his bride of two hours, after she broke the promise that she would not share pictures of the wedding on social media.

The bride sent pictures of her wedding to her friends using Snapchat, the Khaleej Times reported on Tuesday. It quoted the bride’s brother that “there was a prenuptial deal between my sister and her fiance that she would not use social media applications to post or send her pictures”. “It was included in the marriage contract and became binding.

“Regretfully, my sister did not honour the pledge, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to call for a divorce,” he was quoted as saying.
