Sarjubala, 5 others in Asian Boxing C'ship semis

World Championships <g data-gr-id="18">silver-medallist</g> Sarjubala Shamjetsabam led the charge by advancing to the semifinals as India were assured of 6 medals in the Asian Women’s Boxing Championships in China.

 

Sarjubala (48kg) defeated Kazakhstan’s Alina Turlubayeva 2-0 to march into the <g data-gr-id="10">semfinals</g>, where she will be up against home girl E <g data-gr-id="11">Naiyan</g>. Others making the last four stage were Meena Devi (54kg), <g data-gr-id="12">Pwilao</g> Basumatary (57kg) and Pooja Rani (75kg).
