Sandeep Dikshit faces protesters IRE

Congress spokesperson and east Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit on Sunday faced the heat from  people protesting against the gangrape of a 23-year-old medical student. Dikshit’s car was stopped and surrounded by these protesters at India Gate. Reportedly police had to intervene and escort him out of the vehicle to safety. This incident took place soon after he was was passing through the area where these protesting since morning had gathered and seeing him they attacked his car. The protesters banged on his car but police intervened and rescued him from the protesters.
