Sand mafia attempts to mow down cop

He was admitted at Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida but was <g data-gr-id="37">refereed</g> to District Hospital in Noida after deteriorating his condition. During initial investigation, police have suspected the role of sand mafia in the incident. Police claimed that the traffic constable was hit by a sand loaded <g data-gr-id="38">dumper</g>. Police said the cop had attempted to stop the dumper for checking, but was targeted by the errant driver. “The driver attempted to kill the cop as he was asked to stop. The cop came under the wheels. We have registered a case and are trying to identify the accused driver,” said a police official.
