Salman Khan booked for hurting ‘religious sentiments’

He was booked on a complaint by Vidarbha unit chief of All Indian Qaumi Tanzeem Mohammed A. Ali for deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.

In his complaint Wednesday, Ali said Salman Khan's NGO 'Being Human' had organised a fashion show in Mumbai sometime ago in which a model walked the ramp with the word 'Allah' written on her dress in Arabic. ‘We have received a complaint against the actor and booked him... Further investigations are underway,’ a police official said.
