Safety, rescue systems in place for Paragliding WC

As preparations gather momentum for the first-ever AAI Paragliding World Cup, a large number of rescue and retrieval teams, live tracking, helicopters, ambulances, trauma vans and GPS system are being put in place in case of any emergency during the event.

With more than 130 paragliding pilots coming over from across the world, the “rescue and retrieval” systems are being considered the top priority for the event, to be held in <g data-gr-id="8">Bir Billing</g> from October 23 to 31. While the gorgeous Dhauladhar mountains ranges and the meadows below offer a superb view for the fliers, there is always <g data-gr-id="9">danger</g> and the Billing Paragliding Association (BPA) is leaving nothing to chance.
