S-E Rlys to install PoS machine in Howrah

South Eastern Railways has taken special initiative to install POS (Point of Sale) machine for unreserved passengers at Howrah station New Complex Booking Counter, which is first in Indian Railways.

Apart from the Unreserved Ticket Booking Counter, State Bank of India has provided with POS at different PRS locations of its jurisdiction which includes Old Koilaghat, Rabindra Sadan, Garden Reach, Kharagpur, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Adra, Rourkela, Bankura, Bokaro and many other locations for cashless transaction to accelerate the government policy as well as for the benefit of railway passengers.
