Russian lady detained with foreign currency

A Russian lady passenger was detained by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Thursday late night for carrying foreign currency more than Rs 24 lakh at the IGI Airport. A CISF personal noticed suspicious activities of a foreign lady passenger at the departure area of Terminal-3. During frisking, a CISF constable recovered foreign currency worth $34,950 from her possession. The accused was identified as Gulamzhanova Khosiyatkhan, who was travelling to Bishkek by Air Manas. The matter was later handed over to the Custom officials for further legal action.
