Russia says no papers on hammer thrower’s suspension

The All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) has not received any documents on suspension of hammer thrower Tatyana Beloborodova for violation of anti-doping regulations, ARAF president Dmitry Shlyakhtin has said.

Reports said on Tuesday hammer throw Beloborodova was suspended for anti-doping violations, reports Tass.

“We have no documents on a positive sample result of Beloborodova during the 2005 World Championships,” Shlyakhtin said on Tuesday.

Beloborodova is the 2012 Olympic champion and the winner of the 2013 World Championship in Moscow. In mid-February 2015, she delivered a child and in three months resumed training.
