Ruckus over baby’s death in Gurgaon hospital

Several people, including the parents and relatives of a one- and-a-half year-old baby, created a ruckus at a private hospital after the toddler, suspected to be suffering from dengue, died allegedly due to doctors’ negligence, police said. The baby, Mayank, was admitted to Aryan Hospital following viral fever on Friday. After conducting some tests, the doctors told the parents that he was suffering from dengue. His parents alleged that the baby’s condition suddenly deteriorated around Sunday midnight but there was no senior doctor present at the hospital. They also alleged that even doctors on Monday morning referred the dead boy to another hospital.
