RSS activist murder case: CPI(M) leader granted bail

A court here on Wednesday granted conditional bail to CPI(M) leader P Jayarajan, an accused in the murder of an RSS activist in 2014 being investigated by the CBI.

Principal Sessions Judge V G Anil Kumar granted conditional bail to Jayarajan, who was admitted to an ayurveda hospital two days ago after he complained of some health problem while he was lodged in the jail in Kannur.

Granting the bail, the judge said Jayarajan should not enter Kannur district for the next two months and should not attempt to influence witnesses.
