Rose Valley chairman in jail hospital with jaundice

Chairman of ponzi firm Rose Valley Group, Gautam Kundu, currently in judicial custody, was admitted to the hospital of Presidency Correctional Home as he is suffering from jaundice. Kundu was admitted to the hospital in the evening after it was found that he has jaundice, said an official of Presidency Correctional Home, who refused to be quoted.

Kundu, who was arrested in a case of by Enforcement Directorate in connection with a case of money laundering on March 26, had recently threatened to commit suicide if ED and CBI “did not cooperate with him”.

Before production in a court in Jalpaiguri district on November 30, Kundu shouted at mediapersons alleging that ED and CBI were not cooperating with him and he would kill himself if they did not do it. 
As he was taken away from the mediapersons to the court lock-up, he started banging his head on the lock-up bars and sustained minor injuries.
