Riteish, Arshad may host ‘Comedy Nights...’ episodes

Actors Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Arjun Kapoor and director Sajid Khan may get into Kapil Sharma's shoes for his popular show  Comedy Nights With Kapil  if the stand-up comedian does not recover soon from slip disc. Kapil, who suffered the injury while working out, is most likely to remain out of action for a couple of weeks. The makers of the show have approached some Bollywood stars to individually host the next few episodes.

“As Kapil is unwell, he couldn't shoot. It can take one or two weeks for him to get well. If he (Kapil) is still unwell... He can't do it... Then we will have Sajid Khan, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Kapoor and others to be a part of the show,” its creative director Preeti Simoes told a media person.

“These people will act according to their personality on the show. It is sweet of them to have agreed to take this up. The other family members from the show will continue to be part of it,” she said.

Kapil has already shot his last episode with Salman, who appeared on the show to promote his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
