RINL-VSP wins prestigious CIO100 award for excellence

For the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in Information Technology (IT) shown during the year, RINL-VSP and its CIO (IT Head) KVSS Rajeswara Rao, deputy general manager (IT) was conferred with CIO100 Award.
 This year, the Seventh Annual CIO Symposium and Awards Ceremony was held at the Marriott, Hyderabad which witnessed 491 companies file nominations out of which 100 Finalists were awarded. David Hill, president and CEO of IDG International Publishing Services and chairman, FIPP, gave away the awards at the grand ceremony.
Vizag Steel also bagged the CIO100 Special Awards under the category ‘Networking Pioneer’ for its network project ‘Alignment to best practices model in Enterprise Networking – Revamping of VSP Network from 1Gbps to 10Gbps and implementation of VLAN’.
AP Choudhary, CMD, RINL and Umesh Chandra, director (Operations)-RINL congratulated KVSS Rajeswara Rao and his team for this excellent achievement. Choudhary said that RINL is always ahead in implementing IT Solutions at all levels and this award shows its commitment to Excellence in all spheres of the operations.
