Ricky Martin takes a quick break in Puerto Rico

Singer Ricky Martin made a 24-hour visit to his native Puerto Rico to enjoy the island’s warm Caribbean waters. ‘I had to do it. I had to go in the sea,’ the singer said in a Twitter posting Monday that accompanied a photograph of him making the victory sign with a beach as background. The singer said he was just taking a break from New York, where he is wrapping up his stint in the musical Evita at Broadway.  The El Nuevo Dia newspaper published a photo of Martin posing with several fans.
