Rhino charged when on foot

We were a team of four clients, two armed rangers and myself. On the way to our favourite fishing rocks we stopped to a passing car who told us that they had just seen a black rhino, an unusual sight in these parts. We decided to abandon fishing, and go on foot and track this rare beast. We found an open clearing that they had described with some thick bushes to the east.

Cautiously, we entered the thick bushes following the rhino tracks. Before we could realise, we had already come within 50 metres of its periphery. Without any warning, she charged straight at us. The clients took off one way, the rangers another and I was left working out the best plan of action. After a split second I took off towards the nearest bush and grabbed it, knowing the rhino was right behind me. I used the bush as a pivot to swing round out of the rhinos way. Luckily for me, she ran straight past me and disappeared.
