Remembering Bhagat Singh

Shaheed-e-Azam Society organized an event on Saturday to commemorate Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s 107th birth anniversary. The event which was organized at the Mavlankar Auditorium displayed a photo-cum-biographical exhibition on more than 100 martyrs. 

The exhibition was dedicated to both the well known and unsung heroes whose sacrifice is not yet forgotten. Some of them included Sohanlal Pathak from Punjab, Baikunth Shukla from Uttar Pradesh, Kunwar Singh from Bihar, Kanaklata from Assam, Sitaman Raju from Andhra Pradesh, Amirchand from Delhi.

During the event, a 40-minute documentary named Inqilab based on the life of Bhagat singh and his comrades was also screened. The documentary was produced by the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library.  Family members of the martyrs also shared their views with the people during the event.
