Ram Janmabhoomi issue not easy to solve: Singhal

Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) international president Ashok Singhal said that till the Hindus emerge as an united force and created a strong vote bank, the issue of Ram Janambhoomi will not be solved.

‘All the government in the centre prefer appeasement policy to strengthen their vote bank. This move has derailed any move to construct Ram Temple at Ayodhya,’ he said while adding that in the coming 2014 Lok

Sabha elections Hindutava would be the main issue. Addressing a press conference in Ayodhya, Singhal said it is unfortunate that the majority population, that comprises almost 80 crore people, is being ignored by the political parties. ‘Now it is a high time to teach vested political parties a lesson because they had taken the hindus for granted,’ he said.

Announcing that the VHP and other Hindu organisations would take a major decision during the Maha Kumbh at Prayag early next year, he said the government was trying to create confusion on the clearance for early construction of Ram Temple even after the title issue on the land was clarified by the Allahabad High Court.
