Raipur airport gets integrated terminal building

The New Integrated Terminal Building spread over an area of 18,500 sq m, with handling capacity of 700 passengers during peak hours and other state-art-facilities, has been dedicated to the  nation by President Pranab Mukherjee.

Speaking on this occasion, the President said, ‘I am happy to know that the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India have taken up the development and modernization of existing airports in a mission mode.’

‘I wish the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India all Success in their endeavours to build state-of-the-art airport infrastructure in the country,’ added Mukherjee.

Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt, Chief Minister Raman Singh, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation K C Venugopal, Lok sabja member Ramesh Bais, Chhattisgarh MLA Nand Kumar Sahu, and Raipur Mayor Kiranmayee Nayak were among those who were present on the occasion.
