The party had created much flutter and demanded the removal of the Kolkata Police Commissioner as they said that the police commission must owe the responsibility of the incident. Amit Shah, national BJP president during his visit to the city also threw some weight behind the state BJP as he also demanded the removal of the police commissioner.

It was learnt that the investigating officers will ask Sinha to give a detail account of the incident that had happened that day.

Deputy Commissioner of the Central division started an inquiry into the incident.

While being asked by the media whether they had offered bribe to Sinha, the accused had told that everything will come to light with the passing of time.
