Puthia inspects loco shed

A K Puthia, General Manager of Northern Railway, undertook an inspection of the Electrical Loco Shed and EMU car shed in Ghaziabad on Thursday. He was accompanied by R K Agarwal, Principal Chief Engineer, Ghanshyam Singh, Chief Electrical Engineer, Northern Railway, Anand Mathur, Chief Personnel Officer, Northern Railway, Rakesh Aron, Controller of Stores, Northern Railway and Arun Arora, Divisional Railway Manager, Northern Railway, Delhi. Supervising a general check of the premises and its various maintenance units, Puthia emphasised that ensuring safety of rolling stock is number one priority for maintenance depots. He also laid stress on improving the quality of maintenance measures which would also result in enhanced punctuality. He also appreciated the efforts done by the shed in carrying out overhauling of locos, heavy repairs etc.
