Punjab & Sind Bank holds meet on vigilance

Punjab & Sind Bank organised a one day conference on Vigilance Administration and Preventive Vigilance.
The Conference which was attended by the senior functionaries of the bank working at administrative offices as well in field covering twelve zones and 600 branches, was inaugurated by Anil Sinha, IPS, additional secretary, Central Vigilance Commission.
Inaugurating the conference Sinha emphasised the need for strengthening the vigilance machinery and preventive measures in the organisation. He stressed the need for greater transparency and uniformity in decision making process at all levels while discharging the bank’s duties. Sinha dwelt on length about the latest in the vigilance world and stressed to adopt best fair practices. Speaking on the occasion, M G Srivastava, chief vigilance officer of the Bank emphasised the need for observance of laid down norms and procedure.
