Punjab Principal Secy, DGP summoned in Abohar case

The National Commission for Scheduled Caste on Wednesday summoned the DGP and Principal Secretary (Home) of Punjab to appear before it by Thursday in connection with the alleged murder of a Dalit man, whose limbs were chopped off by suspected henchmen of a liquor baron in Abohar.
National Scheduled Caste Commission Vice Chairman Dr Raj Kumar Verka has asked the officers to appear before him.
The officers were earlier asked to appear before the Commission’s headquarter in New Delhi, he said.
