Pune firm offers banks ATM slips in vernacular

LinguaNext is in discussions with nationalised and private banks for deploying its solutions at ATMs, which will help users get transaction details in local languages. The Pune-based firm LinguaNext offers application language management solutions and is already working with different banks, including the State Bank of India.

‘We are in active discussions with various banks. These are at different stages, some we are carrying out proof of concept and with some, we are in commercial discussions. We expect some of these to materialise before the end of the year,’ LinguaNext CEO Jagdish Sahasrabudhe SAID.

Using our solutions, ATMs will be able to offer transaction slips in local languages to the customers, he added. Currently, ATMs generate receipts in English, though there is an option of doing transactions in Hindi.
