Pujara, Taruwar slam triple tons

C Pujara struck second triple hundred of his first class career as Saurashtra progressed to the semifinals of the Ranji Trophy, courtesy their first innings lead over rival Karnataka, on Thursday.

Punjab entered the last-four stage by virtue of their first-innings lead of 298 runs. Resuming at 435 for three, overnight batsman Taruwar, along with Kaul, ensured that Punjab do not lose a single wicket in the entire day.
