PSO arrested, two more aides being questioned

On Monday, the crime branch has arrested Sachin Tyagi for his alleged involvement in Hardeep’s murder. According to sources, two more aides of Namdhari have been detained by the crime branch team from Uttarakhand.
Sachin, 27, a constable belonging to Uttarakhand police, is the personal gunman of Namdhari. He came to Delhi along with Namdhari without the knowledge of Uttarakhand police. ‘He is also booked for illegally using his service revolver to kill Hardeep,’ said Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime and railways) S B S Tyagi. The weapon was officially given to him by Uttarakhand police.
Tyagi added that during the investigations, Sachin Tyagi agreed to using his official weapon unauthorisedly to fire at Hardeep Singh.
Namdhari had a 0.30 bore pistol but did not possess valid licence for bringing the weapon to Delhi.
Other than Sachin Tyagi, the special investigation team (SIT) of the crime branch has detained two more people from Uttarakhand.
The duo had allegedly helped Namdhari in tampering the pistol that was recovered earlier from his farmhouse in Uttarakhand. ‘They are being questioned in Rohini by the SIT,’ the source added. The cops are still waiting for the ballistic report, which would confirm the type of weapon and bullets used in the gun battle.
