Principal, manager booked for harassing co-worker

A case has been registered against the principal and the manager of a city-based school for allegedly harassing an assistant librarian and robbing her of her valuables, police said on Sunday. 

An FIR was lodged against principal Vipin Rathi and manager Sandesh Dutta of Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Rajendra Nagar colony of the Sahibabad area on the complaint of a woman assistant librarian working in the school, SHO Sahibabad, <g data-gr-id="18">Haridayal</g> Singh Yadav said. 

The woman had alleged that the duo called her to the school on the pretext of work and assaulted her, he said. According to the complaint, the victim was forced to organize ‘Shakhas’ of RSS’ women wing and asked to attend camps and meetings at odd hours. 

She alleged that when she resisted, the management sacked her. The duo has been booked under relevant sections of IPC;. However, they  are yet to be arrested.
