Pollution level testing inspector suspended

The Delhi Government has suspended a pollution level testing inspector (PLTI) posted at the Auto Rickshaw Unit of Burari Authority on charges of corruption.
Transport Minister Gopal Rai said the department had received a complaint of corruption against Inspector of Burari Authority Prem Dutt, following which an inquiry was conducted in which charges of corruption, prima facie, was established.
“The government has taken a serious view in the matter and the concerned Inspector has been placed under suspension,” said a statement, issued by the Transport Department.
