Police recover 3 bodies in separate incidents

Police recovered the bodies of two teenager couple from the railway track near Pachra station in Birbhum’s Dubrajpur on Tuesday morning. The bodies have been identified as Debasish Bagdi and Kalpana Bagdi, Both were the residents Mahula village in Dubrajpur. 

Police are suspecting that the couple who were into a relationship might have committed suicide by throwing themselves in front of a train early on Tuesday morning. The police have come to know after interrogating the villagers that they had developed some problems in their relationship recently. The police are investigating if there was any foul play behind the death of the duo. 

In another incident, police have recovered a 54-year-old man’s body, who was killed a family dispute over a piece of land at Manikchak block in Malda. The deceased have been identified as Sushil Karmakar. Two others people were also injured in the incident. Police said that Sushil had engaged in a quarrel with his brother-in-law over the possession of a piece of land. 

The victim who was a farmer had been attacked by the accused while returning home on Monday morning. He was declared dead after being taken to Malda Medical College and Hospital. The accused has been at large since the incident. 

Police are conducting raids to nab the culprit.
