PM should also be suspended from House for ‘inviting ISI to Pathankot’: Mann

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday demanded suspension of Prime Minister from the House for “compromising” national security by “inviting ISI” to the Pathankot airbase.  Mann said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ‘100 times more guilty’ than him for ‘inviting ISI’ to probe the January 2 terror attack in Pathankot.

Maan on Tuesday tendered an apology letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. He said, “I explained my stand to the Speaker, but she said what I did was not right and that I should apologies for it. So I tendered an apology through a written letter. I said it was not done intentionally but for educational purpose. I was just trying to make an educational video. My apology was not considered enough; the issue was given a political twist. I was told to end it as my act could prove dangerous for the country’s security,” Mann told media after he submitted his letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.

Lashing out at PM Narendra Modi, Mann in his letter to Mahajan said that members of ISI who where behind the Parliament attacks in 2001, were invited by Modi himself to visit the Indian Airbase of Pathankot, then where the question of national security goes.

Mann also demanded PM Modi’s suspension in the letter pertaining to security concern over Pakistan
team’s visit to India to probe Pathankot attack. Earlier on Monday, Mann was asked not to attend Parliament session until a panel set up to probe the video resolves the issue. A nine member committee has been made set up to probe the issue. The panel will submit the report on August 3.
