PM Modi meets President at hospital, says he is cheerful

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met President Pranab Mukherjee at a hospital here where he is recovering after coronary angioplasty and said he was cheerful. “Met Rashtrapati ji. He was very cheerful. I had gone to ask about his health but instead he talked about issues relating to the Nation,” Modi tweeted.
The Prime Minister drove to the Army Research and Referral Hospital straight from the airport on his return from Jammu and enquired from the doctors about the recovery of the 79-year-old President. After presenting flowers to the President, Modi spent some time with Mukherjee who continues to be in the hospital for the fourth consecutive day after angioplasty last week.
