PM condoles, Azad expresses anguish

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight condoled the loss of lives in a bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir. “My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their loved ones in the unfortunate accident in Reasi, J&K. Prayers with the injured,” he tweeted.

While, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed deep anguish over the incident saying there was “deterioration” in traffic management in the state. Expressing deep condolence, Azad said the state government should provide adequate medical help to those injured in this accident. 

“I have repeatedly been expressing my concern on the deteriorating traffic management on hilly terrain of J&K and particularly the Jammu region. This has resulted in fatal accidents, claiming scores of precious human lives. My heart goes out for those who lost their loved ones,” he said in a statement.
